How To Take Care of Preserved Flowers?

Fiona Wang

Placement Tips

  1. Keep away from direct sunlight, spotlights and windows to avoid fading and brittleness.

  2. Store in dry areas. Do not place in kitchens or bathrooms, and keep away from humidifiers and air conditioner vents.

  3. Optimal temperature ranges from 15°C to 25°C. Keep far from heaters and underfloor heating.

Daily Maintenance

  1. Never pour or spray water on the flowers.

  2. Minimize touching petals with hands to prevent color transfer and damage.

  3. Remove dust gently with a makeup brush, or blow with the cold setting of a hair dryer from a distance.

For Flowers in Glass Domes & Gift Boxes

  1. Keep the lid closed normally to block dust and moisture.

  2. Open for 10 minutes monthly for ventilation.

  3. Replace the built-in desiccant every 1–2 months.

First Aid for Dampness & Mold

  • Soft petals: Blot moisture with tissue paper, then air-dry in a cool ventilated spot with cold air.

  • Slight mold spots: Wipe lightly with a cotton swab dipped in 75% alcohol and air-dry.

  • Discard flowers with severe mold.

Long-term Storage of Bulk Floral Materials

Separate into sealed bags with desiccants, store in a cool cabinet, and air out once a month.
